Huskies girls' cross country takes Purple Pride title, Volleyball team crushes Foley to clinch share of conference title!

It was a great night in Huskies Country on Tuesday night, with Albany's girls' cross country team winning their home Purple Pride meet by a wide margin, the boys' cross country team finishing as runners-up in the same meet while the Huskies volleyball team crushed Foley in a Granite Ridge Conference contest.

It was the 20th win of the season for the Granite Ridge Conference champion Albany volleyball team, who climbed to #19 in the latest Class 2A QRF rankings at Minnesota-Scores.net and have nine wins in a row to their credit. In the GRC standings they are 9-0 with two matches remaining on the schedule. They host St. Cloud Cathedral this Thursday night and then travel to Little Falls next Tuesday to complete the regular season.
