Huskies baseball wins fourth straight in shut out win over Mora

On Friday night in Mora, the Albany Huskies baseball team improved to 9-7 overall on the season with a 4-0 win over the Mustangs. It is their fourth straight win, while Mora saw their five-game winning streak snapped to fall to 10-4 overall. Read more about the game in next week's Albany Enterprise.

Mora, who is tied for second in the Granite Ridge Conference (6-2) with St. Cloud Cathedral, is the second-ranked team in Sub-Section 7AA-1, while Albany is currently ranked fifth in the Sub-Section 6AA-East standings.

Up next for the Albany baseball team: a trip to Melrose for their final meeting ever with the Dutchmen in conference play. The Dutchmen hold a 3-3 record in the West Central North Conference but are 4-10 overall. Albany is 5-2 in the WCC-North in a tie for first place with Paynesville Area.
