Albany softball team drops out of playoffs

An exciting four-game winning streak was halted on Thursday night in the playoffs.

A narrow 6-5 loss to neighboring rival Holdingford last night was followed by an 11-1 loss in the elimination game to Paynesville Area for the Albany Huskies softball team in the double-elimination round of the Sub-Section 6AA-East tournament. They finish the season 6-12 overall.

Holdingford went on to lost to Milaca by an 11-5 score in the evening game.
